• Outer fabric: 100% polyester microfiber (width 30 cm, height 19 cm, depth approx. 9 cm at the gusset)
• 100% cotton-lined inner lining of the same size
• 30 cm YKK nylon zipper
• Step-by-step illustrated instructions, very detailed

A unique setting

These two illustrations were drawn by BénédicteAtelier des ABCDaires. With these two fabric patterns, you can sew a large pouch, a toiletries bag, a backpack, a handbag, a tablet sleeve…!

A kit made entirely in France

Based near Nancy, we work exclusively with a printer in Alsace to ensure the highest possible quality for your designs. Our zippers come from northern France, and our linings from the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region.

A large ready-to-sew pouch

The instructions are very detailed, with a photo for each key step. You can even download them as a PDF with large, full-color photos at the bottom of the page.

No pattern needed: the seam allowance is already included in the design of each pencil case. So there’s no need to measure or trace anything—just cut the velvet along the edge of the design.

Place the velvet on top of the lining and cut directly around it.

A sturdy kit

• The outer velvet fabric of the pencil case is water-repellent.
• This velvet is sourced from the furniture industry (for maximum durability). It is very sturdy and extremely wear-resistant. It is soft and thin enough to be sewn like a regular fabric.
• The print is colorfast: there is no risk of fading, shrinking, or losing its shape.

Easy maintenance

• Machine wash at 30°C, without spinning or on a low spin cycle (approximately 600–800 rpm) due to the coated fabric.
• Air drying is recommended.

Our kits are sold under the brand name Atelier des ABCDaires.

The lining fabrics and the color of the zipper (always carefully selected and coordinated with the design) may vary from collection to collection.
