The Landes, the caravan, and a touch of nostalgia

Hello, hello,

It’s already August. When I was little, this was the month of Summer Vacation with a capital S. The camper would appear as if by magic in front of the house, followed by a big cleanup, careful packing, hooking it up, and off we’d go: on our way to the Landes! A thousand kilometers later, we’d arrive in paradise for a month of pure bliss and life in the great outdoors, under the pine trees.

A few years have gone by, and we still go camping at the same spot—but not this year.
On the agenda: some rest (a little), tidying up (quite a bit), and drawing (lots!!) !
And I’ve saved a treat for last: starting today, I’m adding a Boris Vian-style inventory to my magic pot for this final month without trade shows: my skeins of yarn, my needles, my scissors, my linen scraps, and my new drawings (but no spinning top for making vinaigrette!).

What will come of it… Who knows! I’ll be the first to let you know in early September.

In the meantime, the new textile prints are arriving, and just like every year, we're running out of space!

So, it's official: there's going to be a big sale on abcdaires.com this August!

See you soon!
