Hello, hello!

The weeks—and even the months—have flown by. We’ve learned to adapt to this strange way of life we’ve all been living. There have been ups and downs!

But in the end, more highs, all things considered 😉

We thought, pondered, meditated, freaked out, cried—just a little bit 😉—but mostly sewed—quite a bit—and drew—a lot!

Today, the first batch of our new projects is in the hands of our beloved printer. The new videos are scheduled, and filming begins in early July. We’ll take this opportunity to introduce you to our new little ones—and there are some changes in the family: Hortense, Lulu, Mathurin, and the rest…

Somewhere out on the vast Atlantic Ocean, our new collection of wool felt is sailing its way to us! And YES, YES—all the colors you’ve loved so much in our little shop since 1999 will be back this summer: I can’t even begin to tell you how happy I am, especially since there are new shades on the way—a real treat!

June 2021 is definitely a busy month for us, especially since we’ll be on vacation in just under ten days, from June 18 through July 1.

From June 24 to 27, 2021, the first COMME1SALON virtual trade show will take place. We’re thrilled to be participating, and you’ll be able to visit some of your favorite booths online—from your couch, your backyard, or your favorite park—whichever you prefer!

This great idea was started by two of our colleagues, and they’ve worked hard to get everything organized. It will give us a chance to see you all again before the long-awaited month of September! You’ll find all the details on how to attend on our website as well as on the websites of all the participating organizations.

Well, there you have it. I have to admit I’m counting down the days until we leave for vacation, since it’ll be a chance for a lovely family reunion—though we’ll still be taking all the usual precautions…but I’m not going to let that dampen my spirits, because we’re finally going to meet our little niece Margot “in person”—she was born in the U.S. two years ago—and see her mom, dad, and big brother again, who can finally join their French family… all together on our beautiful beach in the Landes region—I’m already getting goosebumps just thinking about it!
